In response to increasing demand from the automotive sector, CTAG has created a laboratory which is equipped for many specific test procedures and methods:

Automation: Testing design and automation according to International regulations, OEM specifications or manufacturers own requirements:

  • Mechanical testing: Reproduction of components’ in-function conditions.
  • Laboratory ageing simulation of automotive components.
  • Electrical testing: laboratory electric and electronic components working simulation and analysis of their behavior.

Instrumentation:

  • Measurement system design: selection of adapted sensors and detection systems.
  • Acquisition and processing of signals recorded by different transducers (pressure, force, acceleration, temperature…).
  • Instrumentation of different types of components with strain gauge, thermocouple… for their analysis under several use conditions.
