In addition the laboratory specialises in research and development studies, testing (durability, thermal and mechanical fatigue, fluidodynamic….) and validation of engine components, as well as compatibility testing for biofuel mix…
It is equipped with:
- Engine test bench with following characteristics:
- Maximum power 190 kW (250hp)
- Steady state testing type
- Designed to test out diesel or petrol engines.
- Instrumentation tools for engines (temperature, pressure, strain gauge, etc...)
- Data acquisition system for temperature, pressure, airflow, waterflow, combustible consumption, etc…
