Autor: marketing Email: ctag@ctag.com Nanocomponents: CTAG, Partner of the Nanocit Project From the beginning, CTAG believes that the development of new materials can bring to industrial products and parts innovative properties as well as environmental and productive advantages. In this respect, one of the investigation lines for the Centre are the nanocomponents, plastic materials with nanoadditives in their composition that give them singular characteristics, as for example electrical conductivity. Nowadays the centre takes part to the project "Design of high added value product based on carbon nanostructures and polymer resins" (Nanocit), in collaboration with other 6 participants. The objective of this project is the development of plastic nanocomponents for the creation of pieces-sensors, which will give back information on their own state, obtaining this way “intelligent" products, by means of electronic integration and of a functional structure in the part.
